3、从语法方面看，它们也有不同：
譬如从可数性上看：adivce 表示“建议”时是一个典型的不可数名词，但 suggestion 表示提出建议的行为时是不可数的，但它表示所建议或建议的内容时则是可数的。
又如从搭配上看：表示“提建议”，advice 一般与动词 give , offer , pass on, provide 等搭配，表示“给提出忠告”“提出建议”等;而 suggestion 则一般与动词 come up with, give sb, make, offer, put forward 等搭配。注意它们有的搭配是相同的，但有的搭配是不同的，譬如大家可以说 make a suggestion，但一般就不说 make an advice。
